What happens after I complete the free onboarding?
After completing the onboarding, you can choose to become an active Trips & Ships advisor ($150/year) to start booking clients and earning commissions. You'll also have the opportunity to join our Luxury Launch: 10-Week Certification Program for advanced training.
Do I need prior travel industry experience?
No prior experience is required. Our onboarding program is designed for both newcomers to the industry and experienced professionals looking to specialize in luxury travel. We provide all the training and resources you need to succeed.
What's the $150/year advisor fee for?
The annual advisor fee covers your host agency affiliation with Trips & Ships, access to our booking technology, supplier relationships, ongoing training, marketing support, and E&O insurance. This fee is only charged when you decide to actively book clients.
Can I do this part-time?
Absolutely! Many of our most successful advisors started part-time while maintaining other careers or responsibilities. The flexibility to build at your own pace is one of the greatest benefits of being an independent travel advisor.
